Fish collection

Trans Mar collects fish direct from harbours or processing facilities. Usually, collections are made in accordance with regular time and route schedules, but individual agreements can, of course, also be made.

Transportation

Unless consignments are full loads, the fish are transported to our refrigerated stores in Padborg after collection. Here, they are inspected and, if necessary, re-iced before being forwarded to various European destinations in accordance with regular route schedules.

Distribution

Salmon and storage

As an additional service for salmon producers and exporters we offer to receive entire production lots at our terminal in Padborg where we have facilities to sort the fish and handle their distribution.

Thanks to our state-of-the-art equipment and a special salmon sorting program, we are also able to solve administrative aspects of the task in accordance with customer-specific wishes and requirements.

• Sorting, transportation, administration and customs clearance are gathered in one place
• The time of sale can be postponed in relation to the logistics chain
• Direct shipments are dispatched from the sorting terminal to all important European destinations for fish
• The distance from producer to customer is shortened and made more rational
